Kipu Ranch Adventures on Kauai - Part 2

This blog entry is a continuation of yesterday's.... more great photos to share of the Kipu Ranch ATV Adventures.   Photos are being used with permission.   Thank you so much Pam McGahey.

They work with the drivers/riders to show them how to handle the hills etc.

Oh my, look at all the ruts in the road.  Heard some people really like the roads this way.
This river was in the movies.   Indiana Jones & The Temple Of Doom

Amazing flowers along the way too.

Look at the views.

More peacocks.

Unbelievable how tall the bamboo grows.  So dense there too.

At the end of the ride, if you would like there is a waterfall swimming hole.  Great way to cool off and get some of that dust off too.

Debbie from California (CruiserLovr on the message boards) had some great tips about ATV tours:
"We've done ATV's twice in Mexico and had a blast. I perfer the double ride vs. the single. I wasn't very good at shifting the dang thing and was always at the end of the pack. Oh boy was I dirty. With the double I was able to take photos while DH focused on the drivng. Great opportunity to see the country side. A couple of suggestions. Wear sturdy tennis shoes and plan to get them very dirty. Old clothing as well. Once we returned to the ship we wrapped everything in a plastic bag for the trip home in our luggage. You will be provided with a helmet, goggles and sometimes a covering for your nose and mouth (new). After our first trip using their "swim masks" we decided to find something better. My thoughts were plastic safety goggles. Bought them at Lowe's for a few dollars a piece and they worked great. No dust got into the inside. Tour guide thought they were a great idea. We also brought our own handkerchiefs as they were a bit larger and thicker. They can be found at WalMart of Target for a couple of dollars apiece. A good bath for each and they reside in my cruise closet for the next time we decide to take another adventure."
