Just picked up a copy Woman's World Magazine dated June 20, 2011 at the store today. They have a 2 page photo layout (pg 48 & 49) of "Experience Big Island Magic". Here's a bit of what it says about the Big Island of Hawaii:
266 miles of spectacularly diverse coastline
offers striking scenery, charming rural towns, plunging waterfalls, towering volcanoes and legendary sunsets.
Did you know that in some areas of this island (laid back towns) that the stop signs say "Whoa" instead of STOP.
Sunny Beaches: Head to the Kona Coast.
Rainforest Scenery: Find it on the Hilo side ... many misty waterfalls and lush tropical landscapes.
Volcanoes: Mauna Kea and Maunaloa volcanoes dominate the center of the island.
