Anti-Theft Bags & Cross Body Bags (purses)

For many years I have used an anti-theft bag/cross body bag(purse).   It gives me an extra bit of security when traveling.   Also I like the cross body type bag as it allows me to have both hand free if needed.

My mom was on a cruise and was getting ready to board the tender.   There was a woman ahead of her boarding the tender  who had a shoulder bag.  As the woman went to step across to the tender her purse fell into the water and sank rapidly.  After hearing this story, I knew that I wanted to have only a cross body bag when I travel.   And an even better option was a bag that was an anti-theft type.
